Peru Sabor was founded in 2013 based on the vision of professional Head Chef Harry Goicochea Perez and his passion to introduce the tantalizing flavours and traditional cuisine of his native Peru to the British public .
We started with a budget marquee, a sturdy grill and some very professional cool boxes, tentatively approaching the organisers of local carnivals, street markets and specialist food festivals, asking for the chance to try out our food to see what people thought – They loved it!
Two years later on we have a thriving business with regular pitches at The Windsor Independent Market (3rd weekend of the month) and Maidenhead Street Market and guest appearances at specialist Food Festivals such as the prestigious Thame Food Festival, The Urban Food Fest in Shoreditch and Feast at Docklands, London. We also cater weddings, private parties and events by invitation.

Born in Trujillo, Peru, Harry’s is an award-winning professional head chef who has trained and worked internationally for more than 20 years. He has cheffed for some of the most prestigious companies and restaurants around, including The Royal Caribbean – Vision of the Seas & Oasis of the Seas, Tetsuya’s Restaurant is Sydney Australia, The Spice Island Beach Resort in Grenada and more locally, The Hinds Head and The Fat Duck in Bray. His ambition for Peru Sabor is to create high quality dishes using authentic Peruvian ingredients put together at affordable prices.
And for special events he is not above wearing the sombrero and poncho his mum sent him to create the ambience!
